I can’t tell you how much I loved “Go the Fuck to Sleep.” When I first heard of it, I immediately purchased it. I’m totally one of those sweary parents who had actually said this to my children on many occasions. I was not let down in the least! I probably shouldn’t have purchased and read it while I was at work. I’m certain people could hear me cackling in my office!
A little while later, someone pointed me to the Samuel L. Jackson reading! If you haven’t heard it — it’s a MUST!!
I’m certain that most parents can totally identify with the sentiments of “Go the Fuck to Sleep.” It’s pretty close to every night that I get to that point of desperation and hopelessness felt towards the end!
I’m reminded of this book just about every night. Several nights when I have gotten to that point of sheer and utter despair over children not going to sleep, I have opened up a tab and called forth the YouTube video of Samuel L. Jackson reading the book…
