I don’t have just one song like that - so many! But, the first one that came to my mind was Sinead O’Connor’s Troy. I remember the first time I heard/saw the video on MTV. I ran out and bought the album the next day and obsessively listened to it for months. After spending time with the album, Drink Before the War became a lasting favorite. Either of these songs still have a huge emotional response for me when I hear them.
