Because I hate failure!

I have only once made a New Year’s resolution.

I never make them! Why set yourself up for failure?

I went my entire life without making a resolution until the one year that I did. I think it was 2011. And I broke it day 2.

That year, I had been reading a lot of the Fly-Lady stuff, and decided to make a resolution to get myself and my kids dressed every day!

Day 1, I got all the kids and myself dressed.

All the kids asked, “where are we going?”

I told them we weren’t going anywhere, and they just could not get over it because we only got dressed when we were going somewhere!

They cried, and I cried, and I decided that was a horrible resolution. We spent the rest of the year in our pajamas. Unless we were going somewhere.
